Users, roles and the change log
While two people work in the admin panel, the question of access rights seems superfluous. When there are fifteen, seasonal staff among them, it becomes a question of accountability - for mistakes and for data that should not leave the company.
So rights are granted by role rather than by person. A new employee gets a role and with it exactly as much access as the job requires.

What you actually get
Roles instead of individual settings
Sales rep, warehouse clerk, content editor and manager have predefined rights. A new employee is up and running in a few minutes.
Rights per module
Access is granted separately for catalogue, prices, orders, content and settings, distinguishing viewing from editing.
Data not everyone sees
Purchase prices, margins and customer data can stay visible only to those who need them for the job.
Change log
For changes, who made them and when is recorded. When something goes wrong, the answer is sought in the log rather than in conversation.
Withdrawing access
The account of a departing employee is disabled in one step, while their work and change history are preserved.
Common questions
Can we create our own role?
You can. Roles are created and edited in the admin panel, with any set of rights.
How many users can there be?
The number is not limited by the system, and terms of use are agreed according to the size of the team.
Is it visible who changed a price?
It is, along with the time of the change. That is the most common reason the log is opened at all.
Can partners have their own accounts?
They can, with access limited to their own data. The page on partners and sales targets covers that.
