Feeds for advertisers and price comparison portals
Every advertiser asks for its own fields and its own structure. One wants XML with particular node names, the second JSON, the third insists on a category written its own way. When those files are built by hand they go stale the same day, so you advertise goods that no longer exist or a price that no longer applies.
That is why a feed here is not built but described. For each advertiser you define the format, the structure and which product field corresponds to which field in its feed. Everything after that runs on its own, from the current state of the catalogue.

What you actually get
A feed tailored to each advertiser
Format, root node name and record structure are set per channel, because advertisers' requirements differ from one another.
Mapping of product fields
The field the advertiser asks for is linked to a field in your catalogue. Whatever does not line up is solved through mapping, not by changing the catalogue.
XML and JSON
Both formats are supported, so the same catalogue feeds channels with different requirements at the same time.
Choosing what gets advertised
Only what belongs goes into the feed - by category, brand, group or attribute value. Goods not meant for advertising stay out of it.
Always current data
Prices and availability in the feed follow the state of the store. It does not happen that a customer arrives from an ad to a product that is gone.
Common questions
Can we add a new advertiser ourselves?
You can, through the admin panel. The address, format and field mapping are defined without any change on the system side and without our involvement.
How many feeds can exist at the same time?
The number is not limited. Every channel has its own feed and its own mapping, and all of them are filled from the same catalogue.
Does the feed include technical attributes?
It does, if the advertiser accepts them. Attributes are carried over from the product specifications, by the same mapping principle.
How is the categorisation the advertiser prescribes handled?
Your categories are linked to the advertiser's categories through mapping, so nothing in the catalogue changes because of one channel's requirement.
